Academically, Nana Asaase holds a Bachelor of Arts in English (Advanced Creative Writing) and History from the University of Ghana. Among his professional goals, is to be one of Ghana’s foremost cultural ambassadors, promoting Ghanaian heritage, indigenous language, and artistic expression globally. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at GIMPA, to expand his capacity for international cross-cultural diplomacy.
Nana Asaase’s contribution also extends into national cultural governance. Nana Asaase served two terms on the Governing Board of the National Folklore Board as Secretary, during which Kente was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. He was also part of the maiden Ghana – UNESCO joint project on Intangible Cultural Heritage, having been through the training of trainers programme. He served as part consultant for the maiden Otumfuor Arts Prize which was instituted in 2025. Nana Asaase has staged international cultural presentations on platforms such as Dubai Expo 2020,Doha Expo 2023 the Afrexim Bank’s AAM 2025, along with features on major global media channels, including BBC and CNN’s African Voices
Nana Asaase is a distinguished Ghanaian poet, writer, literary coach, and cultural arts practitioner with more than 12(twelve) years of professional experience.
